Access control increasingly requires integration with complex security and automated systems and hence special technology to identify users, restrict/consent personnel or vehicle access, whether incoming or outgoing, according to different restriction and authorisation levels, and monitor user traffic, keeping a record of related events. The gamut of devices available for such access control operations include:

Our systems are available in three versions, depending on required surveillance capacity, and namely:

Our electronic control units for managing 0.5 to 2 hp three-phase motors and related safety devices are entirely in-house designed and made according to stringent EU Machine Directives.

Our selection of photocells for industrial door or parking access bar applications include self-locking, buried, and wall or column mountable cells with a 6 to 50 m detection range.

Our metal detectors for the opening of automated or industrial doors are available in a 1 or 2 channel version with direction logic, 12/24 Vac/dc or 230 Vac power supply, and microwave- or infrared beam-based radar .

Our top-of-the-range radio or radio-controlled systems comprising Multipass® decoding and Rolling Code algorithmic function-endowed receivers (both in-house developed) for maximum security, operate on different frequencies but always in full compliance with the European "R&TTE" Directive.

Prastel has so far turned out over 15 million transmitters.

Our active infrared beam window/door/wall-boundary and outdoor perimeter protections afford ideal preventive breaking-and-entry security.

Prastel  range includes:

• Easy-to-install, small-section barriers for the protection of windows, balconies and doors, also available in the battery-powered WIRELESS version, with multi-beam integrated electronics (4 or 8 synchronised beams) and connection to all wireless alarm systems.
• Compact one or two-beam, long-range (60, 150, and 250 effective metres) barriers with coded optical synchronism (4 different emission frequencies) for the protection of wall boundaries; may be used “as-is” or fitted inside stylish ground- or wall-mountable, anodised aluminium columns.
