Radio control is a system comprising at least one receiver and one or more transmitters, which, using radiofrequency technology, can remotely activate a device controlling gates, doors, garages, activation of alarm systems, lights, burglar-proof control, access control, etc.

Prastel has designed and manufactured radio controls for over 25 years and has introduced major innovations in the sector, some of the most important of which include:

1983   Dip-switch transmitters with 1024 combinations.
1984   Transmitters with side keys
1991   Prastel presents the revolutionary system that self-learns differentiated Tx codes on the relative receiver equipped with extractable memory modules that are manageable via terminal. Introduces the concept of management of different transmitter codes in the memories.
Also the concept of using remote controls in access control.
1993   Prastel introduces the possibility of remote controlling the acceptance of new transmitters (R.P.A.) on an Rx, via an enabled transmitter.
1996   The ROLLING-CODE system takes the place of MULTIPASS.
This variable code system is still unique and inimitable.
1997   Transmitters with multi-signal LEDs (battery saver, self-retaining, optic transmission).
1998   Transmitters with conductive rubber keys and lithium batteries.
1999   Transmitters with dual technology (radio 433.92 Mhz + proximity at 125 KHz).
2003   Easy-Roll system. Possibility of assigning an installer code or a system code to remote control, without opening the packaging (via radio), or making a copy of another transmitter with known code.
2005   “Remote Force Control” Function: RFC®. For changing (emergency), with the same transmitter enabled for opening, the operating force and obstacle sensitivity programmed on one of our control units to open an automatic gate that does not activate with preset force.
2006   BFOR transmitter.
Prastel has to date produced over 15 million transmitters.
