A photobeam (or Photo Electric Beam) is an electronic device that uses modulated infra-red beam technology, to activate a relay if the signal between the transmitter and receiver are breached.
Commonly used for safety or security applications for doors, automatic gates, in both residential and industrial applications. Consiting of a transmitter and a receiver Photobeams are available in many different dimensions, beam ranges and fi eld applications. All Prastel beams are supplied with an autotest function for ease of installation, in addition all our Photobeam have been engineer to shield against and eliminate interference from power line, the sun or other luminous sources.
